If I remember correctly there is a rule that states that you can use
dice from your combat pool only up to you rating in that combat skill.
For example, Hammer has a Firearm of 6 and a combat pool of 8, he can
only use 6 dice from his Combat Pool to aguement his abilities. If he
does not have a skill, according to my personal rule, he can't use his
Combat pool, too unbalance if he did.
