Spinal VCR systems:

OK, rat said that I made the systems way too essence friendly, and
far too cheap for how essence friendly they are. Let's look at this

Comparing the level 2 VCR's:
The Spinal VCR has 3d6+1 to overall initiative, giving an average
roll of +11.5. The normal VCR system has a 2d6+4 to initiative, giving a
+11. Essentially, they are the same speed. Sure, the Spinal VCR can be
faster - it was designed to be, but it can just as easily be slower, depends
how lucky you are with the dice.
This basically shows that we are comparing similiar systems.

Now, let us look at the cost of the level 2 VCR's:
You can buy a spinal VCR at 2.5x the cost for 2.6 essence.
You can buy an alpha VCR at 3x the cost for 2.4 essence.

Hmmm... seems pretty similiar to me. And we haven't even gotten
to the fact that the Spinal VCR doesn't even compare to the normal VCR
when it comes to remote control drones (as it shouldn't).

From this, if anything, I think that the spinal VCR is actually
overpriced, but then again - new tech always is. I could compare the
level 1 VCR's as well, but they turn out much the same as this analysis,
so I did the level 2 as the higher level stuff is more likely to unbalance
a campaign. I don't think this will.

Opinions? And Rat? I would appreciate it if you tell me what your
thoughts are after reading this explaination. Enquiring minds want to know. =)

Catch ya all later.
