We are not extinct, nor will we die easily. Humans have proven to be
remarkably adaptable, venturing from the river valleys of the Tigris
and Nile to the mountains of Nepal; from the plains of North America to
the high seas which encircle our globe; from the depths of the oceans to
the high frontiers of space.

In the quest for equality and freedom for all the variants of humanity,
we must not forget that even the most mundane member of our bunch
is hardy enough to withstand the forces of chance through the
resilience and eternal adaptability of the mind.
