A decker with a high Hacking pool, and a brilliant deck, should be able to do
stuff really well. Most systems are open to a good decker. My post reflected
this.
I was trying to emulate something that would be the case in RL, and is ruled
out by the SR rules. That is: the CPU controls EVERYTHING. If the system can do
something, then the CPU can ask it to do it. In some cases a SPU will be
sitting in the way, but all this means is that you've got another place ot make
the request from. Under standard SR rules, to control a camera, you have to be
in it's Slave node, to control the lifts, you have to be in that node, etc. Yet
you should be able to do it from the CPU. Frames should not be required, as the
system operators don't need frames.
Thanks for the comments. I did appreciate them, and that's why I felt I had to
respond.
