well, not that i want to start an argument about physics, but i was basing
a previous posting on the fact that i wasnt dealing with a "spectrum" per
se, but talking about things which radiate and produce a
wavelength...although i do not think sound has any place on the visual
light spectrum itself, since its wavelength is generated by
vibration...compression of air...

that is why there is no sound in space...and ultrasound would not work
there...
