Nice idea. One comment on the ammo, though: It's HUGE. Do you realize that
the clip is a foot and a half long (at least). This is more like a tommy-gun
than an assault rifle.

One thing I've read over and over in weapons discussions is the underlying
assumptions of modern assault rifles, which Srun rifles are based upon.
They assume that most engagements will be under 200 or 300 yards; longer ranges
are taken care of by heavier weapons. The bullets are small and light-typically
5.45-5.56mm; 7.62 is a heavier round used by some countries in assault rifles,
but is typically reserved for MG use.

SMGs are intended to provided high-RoF damage with pistol-sized ammo, which
is usually between 5.56(.22) to 10mm, sometimes 11mm. The Tommy-gun was about
.40, which is about 10mm.

Maybe if it had fewer bullets or was defined as having a smaller calibre, it
would make more sense in real life terms. But it's not a glaring error--most
people probably wouldn't know the difference, much less care about it in play.
