The concept of focusing one's mind (or spirit) to achieve near impossible
feats is widely spread over the martial arts stories. To make it into a more
game usuable effect, I suggest that a form of Centring, (ie focusing the will)
in a similar fashion to the mages one, be used. Impose a couple of different
rulings on it to make it different and make the character take some sort of
centring skill (ie breathing exercises etc).
That should give you something like what you asked.
