I drafted up some new rules for motorcycles..... but I don't have access to
a RBB yet to check them out. There ought to be a few new items when I make
out the final rules as well. If you like 'em, use them, otherwise use the
regular rules.

I don't know how many of you know how to ride motorcycles, but the
current rules don't make a lot of sense in the fact that if you add cargo
boxes, your handling goes down, whether they are loaded or not. Here is
what I suggest.

Handling penalties on bikes:
+1 for a passenger with a natural body of 3 higher than the bike or less
+2 for a passenger with a body attribute 4 or more above that of the bik
e

if the bike has baggage compartments, assume that if there are 1
additional compartment, it is behind the seat, if there are two, they are
side compartments (or saddlebags), and three additional cargo spaces would be
both behind the seat and saddlebags.

If the side bags are properly loaded, there is NO handling penalty.
This is due to their low center of gravity. To do this however, one must
distribute the weight evenly across both sides. If the character doesn't
say he makes sure to do this, it isn't. In that case, there is a +1 handling
penalty. This could even be a +2 if the character does something stupid, such
as filling one bag with lead while leaving the other one empty.

Filling the top container imposes a +1 penalty, even if it is light
things such as clothing.

The benifit of top bags is that you can quickly and easily remove items
from
them - some even can be mounted backwards (look at police bikes) so that they
could be opened without getting off the bike. Side bags take longer to get at
stuff, unless it was intentionally put on top.

(if the don't say it was previously - it wasn't)

I gotta run - they are closing down this lab. Cya all Later ]<<<<<
