Like I said, it was late and half thought through.
First, I negelected to metion the fact that you
need to turn the magnet on. It is NOT always active.
That would become a major pain in the keister.
Second, I don't think the EMP would disrupt anything
serious (unless that is a cyber arm) due to the fact
that the system *probably* uses optical chips which
no longer have the rotten problem of be susciptible
(I can't spell either) to EMP.

P.S. I grabbed the idea from a short story. The name and author
escape me right now, but rest assured Mr. Johnson we'll find it.
