availibility of Bioware is better left relative to the experience of the
party rather than an arbitrary timeline. While the latter half makes sense,
the former leaves open the more reasonable option of new GMs who have naught
but the main rules and Grimoire and wish to stay FASA-current regarding the
timeline a believable way of introducing bioware (it's new. . it's mythical).
As for Higher-force spells, I believe the reverend is also correct when
he points out that mages get high force & tech. Although I vaguely recall
something, in the first ed, at least, that limits starting mage cash to
350,000. Maybe that was the natural restriction that comes from playing
a full mage or metahuman. At any rate, I would still allow PCs to start
with up to Force 6 spells, though after play I would charge an arm and
the occasional leg, proportianate to force.
