I remember reading about a guy at an electronics convention that, with a
reporter following him, went to Radio Shack, came back to the con, and built
one! Cost $40.

Well, considering I've helped build about 10 of these *uckers (yeah, that was
an S... REALLY it was!;), I'll attest to it. We built them with copper mesh,
and solid brass around the door, window, etc. When you closed it, you could
not get ANYTHING! I didn't drag much stuff in there, but it suited the purpose
(adjustment of cordless phones). This is probably the best way to do it. It
was a rather LARGE faraday cage (4*5*6), but it was one.
