The term 'powerful' was not for the drain, but for the effect. In
fact, with this spell, my player is able to read in almost every
mind, which is very annoying sometime. This is why I would like to
know how to use the spell and describe the effects.
Does the spell allow a mage to read in any mind, or not ?
Thank
Ben.

Gaack! Does this player have a power focus 6, or what???
What I was referring to was that the power of mind probe is balanced by the
fact that the typical mage takes at least moderate drain from it unless
he's extremely powerful or extremely lucky.
You are aware that mind probe is a resisted spell, right? (Target=W[R])
(Just checking...)
