Would that be the premise of GDW's classic "Carpilacs and Dino-totems
game"?

Speaking of the Dino-totems, I can think of no sillier example of them
besides "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" which my tiny siblings THRIVE upon.
This show is horrible. There is truly no redeeming feature, save that all
who see it may be inspired to produce better television. The acting is bad,
the writing is bad, the special effects are bad, the fight choreography is
bad, the premise is bad, the entire show is bad (you know it. . .shades of
Michael Moonwalker here".
