well I plan on getting to panthers more after my dimitri post but Rob asked a
question that I thought I answer now.

Rob said that he thought that Panthers were black
Yes and no - and so did I

Panther can really be used for a few of great cats but most often for the
Asian/African Leopard or for North/central American cougar/puma.

The name started off being used for the Leopard but when people moved to the new
world it got to being used for the puma. Most people now days when confronted
with the word Panther will think of the BLack Phase Leopard ie - black Panther.
Unfortunately their is also a Black Puma ie -BLack Panther in Central America.

In all - what I was trying to get across (somewhat) was that Felis Concolour
goes by a LOT of confusing names giving it a greater aura of mystery.

No - there are NO pink Panthers - well atleast the animals
(hah beat Doom to it, his Humor soft wear has been working over time :)
