For all you who wanted to know the gyro in reference - here it is.

Pg 66 Shadowplay by Nigel Findley

"A thief couldn't even start up the ignition, let alone control the mass of
metal whose stability relied so much on the computer-controlled gyroscope
mounted below the engine block."

And I don't believe they are talking about a miniture 'sensing'
gyroscope - they are talking about a full fledged gyro with weight that shifts
the bike to keep its balance - thats why you could have it rigger controlled.
