Just a thought here... (DUCK!)

What if a group of mages (initiates) decided to pull a practical joke.
They form a ritual circle, and begin to chant. Hours later, with the mages
sweating heavily, the leader chants the final words. The magicians feel
exhausted, but happy. They look out the window to find that the centering
was a sucess.

"They" just made the Space Needle look like the center section of Niagra
Falls. (Centered a spell called "Mask" on the building, with 30 mages, all
initiates grade 1-5...)

"It's not like talking with people. With people, anything can be said and
nothing matters. Words and words and words. You go to a party... people
sit around and say things. Anything. Just to talk. Put forth views and
debate them. Sometimes you get a new idea. Sometimes something changes"
