As a graduate student in political science I deliberated the
merits of both... ooops; I mean all three (Perot) - oops, there was
a Libertarian Candidate also I think. Anyway I looked at all
my options and arrived at the same opinion I have in the
past- I did not vote.

Actually, a while back I promised myself that until all votes
were truly equal and the government ended the Electoral College
System, I was not going to waste my time...

Seriously, I am amazed sometimes at how some people can blindly
blame one man for all their problems and societal woes.
Nevermind the natural course of the economy, the true impact
that the Congress has in the system, the turncoats for all you
republican groupies out there who could never imagine that their
fellow republicans *support* these democratic policies and as such
are equally at fault. Or maybe that the economic failures you are
currently facing are the result of the last 12 years of republican
hegemony... or maybe it is the result of Jimmy before them....

I dunno, maybe after two years of studying this stuff intensely
I have come to learn that this "Don't Blame Me, I Voted For
Bush" mentality demonstrates Campbell's claim in the American
Voter that the public is truly unsophisticated.

*What Soapbox? I have to talk about this shit all day without
one!*

Actually... one last note- I wonder how our international
friends upon this list view this thread???
