Anyway. Correct. C4 is a great thing.
But it needs heat and pressure. My brother
was in the army for 7 years, and the best thing
in the field, when you are cold, is to burn a
brick of c4. Just don't stomp on it to put it
out. Similarily, tnt can be stacked in a roaring
fire without ill effects, as long as the blast caps
are not with them (I think..can't quite remember).
Gunpowder works by burning fast and expanding into
a gas so that it pushes the bullet out of the barrel
at high speed. Similarily, nitrogylcern is so volitile
because it has an expansion ratio of 1:2000 roughly.
It goes from liquid directly to gas in an instant. And
the expansion ratio allows it to push all other things
away from it.
