Ok, the whole idea about the loss of services thread was to give some
people who are facing imminent demise of net access some ideas to
actually keep it. I didn't want to start a "rights v. privlidges"
flamewar.

Sorry about that.

As the world moves into the information age, every effort must be made to
be sure that the information ISN'T rationed, or we might as well write
ourselves off as free-thinking human beings (and non-humans, if there are
any on the list).
