just a hmm. on the subject, a kind of rebuttal to the phrase
used by {schnood, cdjworks@******.digex.net} "manage" to get hit in the head.
well- as far as head vs. arm we play all extremities as difficult hits,
but though an arm may have more literal surface there are problems in a
real-life hit. It's bein waved around, its narrower, its location is
variable. Most hotshots go to the head or body for a kill. Dont know
exactly what the b.buk sez (sorry) but i mumbled about this to our GM &
it seemed to concur.
consider the instinct- do you _go_for_ the arm or do you want the hed?
granted the danger object <gun, dek, explosive, charm> is held there, but
not many ffolk go for the magic Clint Eastwood shot when the chips are on
the table. (well- except preturnaturally conceited individuals, and
howmany times have we dragged Kugels' smoldering bits back home...sigh)
anyway, thats my take. Maybe your GM has been trying to preserve yer
angelic good looks by sparin' ya hed shotz. ;-)
-oh, are your guys shootin for the armz specifically to take out dekz and
stuff? just curious...
well, no, thats still the Clint shot. hmmm
anyway if i knew they'd be lookin to rip off my gear if i was wounded id
rather have it in a replacable portion of my body. i can stagger farther
without an arm than i could get w/out me hed.
-luv to mummsies,
cheers for now,
-Ky
