So keeping this rudimentary argumnet in mind, would not the
phrase "bullets and other ballistic projectiles" mean that they
are speaking about separate ideas? Therefore your above claim
that it does not stop bullets is not accurate, and your
attributing the descriptive characteristic "ballistic"
as a necessary quality for those objects the barrier would stop
inaccurate?
That's wrong. The rule says "bullets and OTHER ballistic projectiles".
The word "other" not only states that bullets are indeed seen as ballistic
projectiles. It also excludes these bullets from from the group behind
the "and" which means "bullets" and "other ballistic
projectiles" have
no items in common but they share the same attribute (ballistic).
