The way I heard it, the swords allow you to attack any magical nasties that
you can see (w/o astral perception) with your armed combat skill instead of
your willpower.

As I see it, we have three problems:
1) A mundo bonding magic items.
2) Balance - our ginsu artist is way beyond the rest of the party
in power.
3) The room for abuse.

Firstly, this was not intended as a personal attack. If I wanted to make a
personal attak on this list, I oculd at least have the decency to wait
until you are CO-OPing again, right?

--> Heaven forbid we bring up a certain magically active sasquachian
--> wolf shaman with a +4 combat focus that probably gives him similar attacks.
--> Not to mention having a reach of 3.

I don't recall EVER having a choice about either of those. I was coerced
into playing a sasquatch, and I was forced to take the axe after I killed
the guy who owned it before he could swing it. As for bonding it, after I
ASKED OTHERS IF THEY WANTED IT, I saved the karma and bonded it as a
shaman. Say what you will, those swords are bonded, for all intents and
purposes.

But if we're going to min-max here, let's say that the fact that the only
people that he doesn't go after in melee are the unmodded mundos means that
anyone who comes into his range gets whapped, and if they do the DESERVE to
get whapped, wouldn't you think?

--> How about the vampiric mage in the same party with him that has
--> enough karma in him to kill a snake. He has never had an essence below a
--> 10 that I have ever seen.

Unless you mean by "snake," wyrm, that doesn't make much sense. However,
though I have my differences with that character, the karma he gained is
legit - gained through actual playing time, with a GM in the group, without
rampant munchkinism. I don't see that he has a place in this particular
discussion.

--> Enough said?

Right. Now that both parties have had a say, it's time to take this to
email.
