The problem is that most 'plastic' guns require metal barrels and firing
mechanisms, or at least linings. Now, depending on how paranoid the
security of the place is, you might be able to get away with
disassembling the gun and distributing it about your person. The barrel
can be disguised as a pen, the ammunition (probably the best bet would be
non-mettalic flechettes) kept in a small hermetically sealed container
and the rest is just plastic. Of course, if they do a skin search, all
bets are off...
