My advice on a run with Horrors is _don't_, unless your players are into
Cthuloid "death and futility" setups. Do you have Paranatural Creatures of
Europe? If so, take a look at the Wraith. (For those who don't have PAE,
here's a summary of it: B 10, Q 12, S 6, C 4, I 7/7, W 10, Ess 12(A), R 7,
Confusion, Fear (both with radius of Essence * 2), Immunity to Pathogens and
Poisons, Influence (also Ess*2 radius), Magical Resistance (gets +Essence to
Body/Will to help it against spells), Magic Sense, Manifestation, No known
weaknesses, and by Influencing people to harm each other it can get a
Spirit Energy of up to 24 (which adds directly onto its Essence).) The thing
is, for most intents and purposes, spellproof and bulletproof (hey, if you
can get a Manabolt to work against an effective Willpower in the range of 22
to 46(!!!), I'm _very_ impressed... or an 18D cannon against 24 armor (and
that's base - it can pump up to 72!) with a Body of 10 behind _that_). And
that's a _minor_ horror. I doubt that _anyone_ in SR could take on a more
potent one... (The immortal elves and dragons have the magical know-how to
do it, of course, but I don't think the mana level is high enough for them
to make use of that knowledge.)
