I do believe, though, that if you ground a spell through a spell lock your TN
is a whopping 2, 'cuz you're working against the lock's rating of 1. OTOH, if
you try the same trick with a quickened spell, your TN is the rating of the
spell. Remember also, that a mage can't dispell a spell that has a higher
force that his initiate grade, or something like that. Which means that
spell locks are a lot easier to dispell, and a lot more mages can do it.
