Well, according Erin B. Parks (a friend of mine and Brian Angliss, who looked
up how to possibly spell it by reading a LOT of books on Celtic lore and Celtic
language, and asked a few liked minded friends) the proper pronuciation is (and
I hope I get this right)
Tir (like the word tear - teardrop)
Tairn (like in tariff + n put a little irish lilting "i" sound in their for
good measure)(I think the word Tairn exists today - just not in the
pocket dictionary I am using for help)
Gir (like in the name Gary - no y - again add in a little more Irish "i")
re (rah)
Hopefully, I didn't murder her pronounciation of it - its the closest to what
sounds right and cool of all the pronounciations I have heard
