I found that last night, matter of fact. I eat those words. So a barrier
only affects the spell, it isn't opaque. (That friend of mine is going to
be unhappy.... *shrug*)

That would be your interpretation, but I disagree. There's nothing in any
of the books to suggest that Personal spells cannot be mobile (in
general) and nothing to suggest that Personal Barrier would be immobile.
In fact, the only thing suggesting your ideas so far has been opinion.
