Eureka! I've been enlightened. I finally figured out how personal barrier
spells work. They don't have area effect! I guess that makes them pretty
mobile, since it would be difficult to hit them against things. This is
cool. I think I'll have my mage invest in a personal Bullet Barrier.
Now the area effect barriers would still be pretty immobile.
