This is not ``standard issue'' stuff to the regular line troops. The stuff
they wear is mostly kevlar with hard inserts, with a water repellant shell.
Also known as ``Type II'' armor. It'll stop some pistol rounds (Type II
will stop 9mm Para but not .45 ACP); it's like butter to most rifle rounds.
