Is a watcher that is using the manifestation power considered dual?
I think so, but I'm not sure (for reasons of game balance) I like it that way.
Suppose a mage conjures a force 1 watcher, goes astral with the watcher, orders
it to manifest (e.g. go tell that guy "with the compliments of Night Owl, my
dear sir ...") and then cast a powerball 6 on the watcher.
The guy is probably toasted without ever knowing what happened.
Who needs a spell-lock to channel a spell through, just summon a watcher!
This seems like a very powerful and efficient way to go blast away at someone
who is not a mage.
This should sound pretty terrifying to all mundanes.
It's a lot cheaper than summoning a powerful elemental, but you do have to
handle the always Physical Drain you get when casting on the astral plane
Any suggestions?
