I've been enjoying this Sniper discussion very much and I'd just
like to give my two bits;
Ever since I started playing SR I've been playing Native Americans,
When the NAN sourcebook came out, I loved the idea of the "Wildcats"
(Souix Special Forces) and developed an X-Tribal Warrior that was a part
of the wildcats during his tribal days.
I started him with a base projectile weapons skill of 6 and then
specialized in the Ranger-X bow. This gave a starting character a skill
rating of 8. Sniper w/ a bow.
Oddly enough, he never missed and had many one shot take downs.
The skill really does make the man!
