You're just a welcome to do the drain thing as not, but if a GM accepts
FASA's suggestion to power-down or up the deadliness of a component of
SR, in this case magic, then I really don't see as to how you can insist
that it unbalances the game. Of course, if you do, I can just squeal that
the guys at FASA said it was the way the universe worked.... so let's not
bother to spin off another "is not is too is not is too" type of thread,
as the grounding thread quickly became.
That, at least, is not something which is stated feebly. The
solution to the grounding 'disagreement' is about as clearly stated in
the books/Dowd's answer/etc as the U.S. Budget. If it weren't so
ambiguous, then we wouldn't be having this discussion, neh?
