Well, this particular school is across the street from one of the worst
parts of town. (If I remember correctly.)

Add to that the fact that it is a metropolitan area and in the East Coast
nontheless, and you're talking about an area that is too full of people.

To illustrate : An experiment was done with rats. They were kept clean,
fed, exercised, and dosed with antibodies. One group was kept at a
constant population density and the other's was raised continuously. The
higher density group started showing signs of illnes, even though they
were physically fine. Finally, they started dying off for no apparant
reason. Overpopulation by density, not by lack of resources.

Even though Homo Sapiens is far more adapatable than rats (and rats are
Very adaptable), some areas get an increase that is higher than the
residents can cope with.

You're lucky you're in Aus.... high tech AND low population density.
Heaven.

Of course some people can cope regardless, but they're not the ones
commiting the crimes now are they...
