Hey, apart from the fucking assholes in the IRA, and other terrorist
organisations, us Uk'ers and Irish aren't too bad, y'know. :)

By the way, if anyone out there thinks that the IRA are cool, and are fighting
for the freedom of Ireland, etc. forget it. about 99% of the people living
on the island of Ireland, whether North or South of the border don't support
the IRA or Sinn Fein.
I'm 100% Irish heritage, and lived in Ireland for 14 years, although I was born
in England (of Irish emigrants...), and I speak Irish better than about 99%
of people in Ireland. However, If you lined up an IRA bomber/gunman, who had
been responsible for the deaths of, oh, maybe 20 innocent men, women and
children, alongside a SAS soldier, who adopted the policy of shooting IRA
members on sight, and handed me a gun, I'd blow the IRA bastard away, and take
the soldier down to the local pub and buy him a pint.
I feel damned sorry for the British soldiers in the North who are sent there
by politicians in London who are nice and safe in their offices in
Westminster, to walk the streets of Belfast, or Enniskillen or wherever, not
knowing if they're going to be alive in five minutes.
As far as the IRA go - I say blow them away, coz they're not freedom fighters
any more. They're gangsters, extortionists, and psychos. A cancer on society
that needs to be eliminated.

And this comes from a guy who _supports_ Irish reunification! :)

Personally I don't even like the fact that, in the Shadowrun universe, the IRA
won eventually.
They're scum, and don't deserve to "win".

I'm sorry for what some people might consider a waste of bandwidth, but this
is a pet subject of mine.
