I sent them a nice, polite letter after I realized they'd sent
that damned thing to every single newsgroup, asking them to never do that
again. Since I'm not a 100% nice guy, I sent it cc: the root at that
site, who probably already knew about it. (Can you imagine how long it
must've taken to send a message like that? There were never more than two
or three groups per message-id!)
I liked the idea of one guy, who said to just simply forward them
a copy of the letter every time anybody saw it, so that they might realize
the enormity of their mistake.
