The question asked was something like "What does it mean when it says that
supression fire covers an area for 10 combat phases". My interpretation is
this: lets say my character rolls initiative, and has actions coming on
phases 23, 13, and 3. On 23, I fire a shot as supression fire. This means that
for the next 10 phases (23 through 14), if anyone enters that area, they may
be hit.

Another question was "wouldnt you need to fire 4 or 5 rounds to effectively
cover an area". Well, that is already part of the rule. If you read the section
carefully, the number of bullets fired during supressive fire becomes the
number of dice rolled to resolve any possible effect. So, if you only fire one
bullet, you only get to roll _one_ die to try and hit someone who enters that
area. If you fire 4 or 5 bullets, you get to roll 4 or 5 dice.

This is my interpretation anyway. Anyone have anything else to add?
