De-Corprealize
--------------
Type: Manipulation
Range: Touch
Damage: Special
Duration: Sustained
Target: Body (R)
Drain: ([F/2]+1)M

This spell will cause the target, which can be one living being
become non-corpreal, that is, to have no physical presence. This is
accomplished by 'phasing' the target. The target suffers no damage and
as soon as sustaining is ended, the target will phase back to normal. A
phased person cannot be harmed by normal weapons, but magical weapons and
spells will effect normally. Also, a phased person cannot physically
attack, although they can cast magic spells.

This has the beneficial effect of the de-corprealized person being able
to pass through walls. (For game purposes, horizontal surfaces are still
solid, so a de-corprealized person will not suddenly fall through the
floor or ground. BUT, a person can CLIMB though the floor or ground.) Also
note that a de-corprealized person still has an astral presence, and this
will be unable to pass through other living beings.

Also, the laws of physics say that no matter can occupy the same space at
the same time, thus if the sustaining of the spell is ended while the
person is within another solid object, the will instead be shifted and
appear in the closest unoccupied spot (that is large enough to hold them).

In appearance, a phased person appears as a ghostly figure, but can
easily be seen.
