Well, IMHO, in America, everyone should be able to speak English, unless
you live in the French-speaking areas of Canada, or down in Mexico or
places further south. OTH, in Japan, you should be able to speak Japanese.

'Course, we could just shortcut the whole procedure and learn Esperanto.
