any concatenation of "X" and "Window" and "s" you can think
of. It's the "X
Window System," "X11," "X11R<whatever revision>," or just

as a windowed operating system.

Ghostscript (gs) has been ported to just about any graphical system you can
list, from DOS boxes, to Amigas, to X11.
