Well, how 'bout a big tank of crude oil? It's not proccessed at all.
Now, if an astral being is unable to move through once living wood, that
makes many buildings inpenetrable, sinse they have wood in their structures.
It also negates the need to grow ivy around your house to shield it from
astral instrusion, just board up the windows with planks, and close your
wooden door...
