Going on the hypothesis that the Horrors reside in space, possibly what
makes it so horrific to the magically active is the background count?
You've gotta admit that something as nasty as a Horror would have to
generate quite a bit of background count, and with all of 'em up there in
the same place...Geesh! It's easy to see how anyone would have problems
keeping their sanity under those circumstances.
