Hey, anyone on here get the new issue of popular sience? There is
an article written in it about the military's new railgun technology.
The electricity propels the discarding sabot-round out of the barrel
ofthe tank at 10-meters per second. No propellent, no ammo explosions,
and automatic loading. imagine this being on our tanks real soon along
with the vectored thrust f-14's and f-18's being tested now. The ones
without tails seem to have flown real smooth to the air force.
