I don't want to start a flame war but being something of an historian when
it comes to ninjustu, I just have to say that if you're learning it in a
school somewhere then it's probably not "real" ninjustu. I say that simply
because we historians cannot really agree what "real" ninja really were.

But yes, iaido/iaijutsu is a dedicated art that parallels kendo/kenjutsu
very closely.
