Well, nor have I. But I have looked in at it, and there's been a tad of
discussion on here about them. Goes something along the lines of (you guys
and gals who own the book correct me if I'm wrong) that you put a C on magic
during creation, and you have to be of German heritage (or something along
those lines). And what you get for your troubles is the ability to, at any
time, expend a point of karma (good karma I think), and you are suddenly
astrally perceiving. Once you switch back to normal space, you have to spend
another karma to look at the astral again. Doesn't really seem that handy to
me if that's all there is to it, so I have a suspicion there's more, but
that's the main bit of it I think.
