These would be the other sentient critters, not other races that haven't
been developed by FASA (yet -- I wanna play a t'skrang! :) I don't think
there will be more "official" races added to Shadowrun, so "Other"
would
refer to vampires, sasquatches, dragons, free spirits, etc. Of course what
falls under "Other" depends on where you are: some nations consider some
species sentient while others shoot them on sight for being "dangerous."
