But you're forgetting that for a mage to take a stim patch is extremely
dangerous...

You didn't really describe how the anchor cylinders work. I got the
impression they were just sockets, not a launcher system. And if they were
just sockets, then you might as well keep 'em in your pocket.

Well, that's what anchors are for. But if you've got, say, your Improved
Mauler anchored, then when you activate it, it doesn't shoot off and hit
something, it just goes boom, where you are. Of 'course, if the anchor gets
fired away first, then that's different.

I can't really see anyone wanting to buy it, though, if they still need to
enchant it. And all the parts, from the computer sight to the main body,
have to be handmade for the enchanting bonus. I'm not sure you could get
the required tolerances to build it manually, anyway. (Well, maybe the main
body. Of course, I could go carve a staff, and have the same bonuses, not
to mention the virgin telesma bonus). It's a nice idea, but I think if you
broke the system down to be a little less "all-in-one", it would be more
feasible.
