The description mentions the fact Faeries can fade in an instant, but
most prefer to do so slowly (no explaination...just using my ideas of
the leprechaun and the cheshire cat).

Sorry about the confusion of creature/faerie. A friend of mine has developed
something new. He calls it Para(meta)humanity. Its basically an idea
that once in a blue moon a (meta)human is born with some sort of paranatural
ability. Before someone starts screaming about the M word or rules screw,
I'll just say that these are, at the least, some interesting ideas to toy with.
They are supposed to be for npc type characters, but I'm letting one player
use it in his character creation. (note..fading is one of the powers listed
under *VERY OPTIONAL*. I'm creating a forth world elf mage with this ability
*based on Blackie from Wes Craven's Nightmare Cafe* to harass and cajole the
group.) Needless to say, this can get out of hand quickly, as it can be abused.I count on
the fact that the people I play with ... for the most part ... are
mature enough not to go nuts and power mad (oops, there goes the rigger). Rats,
I just realised that Phelan is going to find out about Blackie. Well, at least
the players seperate character knowledge from player knowledge.
So I phrased my question with Blackie in mind, thus the mix-up with Faerie=creature.
