By the strictest definition (as in alt.current-events.net-abuse
and now news.admin.net-abuse.misc), it is not considered spam. However,
it /is/ bullshit.
This "virus" went around about six months ago -- and, though it
did spread like a virus and take up way too much space on peoples'
systems, it was transmitted solely by people who fell for it.
'Cause you see, the "good times" virus consists entirely of that
message which you forwarded to the list. And, no, it's not a real
computer virus, just a major pain in the ass.
Apologies if I sound overly pissed about this -- I guess
everybody falls for one scam or another before they learn. But this is
the eighth or ninth time I've received it.
