Yes, but in my game it is a 2 force spell and therefor saving against it
is very easy.

Where does this rule (medicine lodge rating - magic theory) as extra dice
came from? (I'm playing a cat shamane with med.lodge(10), so I'm interested)

But how does he masks the power focues with grade 4? It must be popular
knowledge in the neighborhood that there's a guy with such an expensive
item, so hire a mage waiting in astral and hit it with a nasty spell when
it's activated. One problem solved. (Works fine with my last power focus =
3 weeks in hospital after been hit by a fireball)
