Phew, someone found a page reference, a tenous one it might be, but it is there...

Hey, SRT tends to treat essence something like your spirit or soul, if I'd
sacrified by 'soul' on thr altar of cyber, I'd be pretty out of it.

It's all through the novels, Ridley from the first, Jason Stone, Whistler's
chummer.


I like to think that there is a reason not to cram as much ware into your body
as you can (other than magical healing).
